Surviving College

I'm not going to start yapping away about how bad things are with the economy, but I would like to identify an area that often goes unnoticed during hard times like these: college life.

With fewer jobs now available to college students, high interest rates on student loans (i had a quote last week for 14.1%), and rising costs of books and tuition, where are the breaks for us students?
